Question 1

What do rear end 2017 LEXUS LS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS LS with rear end damage, the median was $9,800, from $6,600 to $12,300. That is 13% above the $8,663 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $19,900 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

90 comparable 2017 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,663, spanning $4,000 to $15,100. At $19,900 this one went 130% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS LS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS LS's pre-damage retail value at $34,494. It sold for $19,900 — 42% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS LS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LEXUS LS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 27,359 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 82,199 miles across 90 sales, so at 27,359 miles this one sits 67% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
