Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS LS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 36 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS LS with front end damage, the median was $6,500, from $3,250 to $12,700. That is 22% below the $8,363 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $16,600 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

79 comparable 2017 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,363, spanning $3,850 to $14,600. At $16,600 this one went 99% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS LS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS LS's pre-damage retail value at $37,255. It sold for $16,600 — 55% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS LS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This LEXUS LS has front end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 19,013 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 83,748 miles across 79 sales, so at 19,013 miles this one sits 77% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
