Question 1

What do front end 2016 LEXUS LS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 36 recorded sales of the 2016 LEXUS LS with front end damage, the median was $6,200, from $3,250 to $10,100. That is 17% below the $7,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,300 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

80 comparable 2016 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $7,500, spanning $3,750 to $11,300. At $6,300 this one went 16% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LEXUS LS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS LS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - GROVE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 111,350 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 106,493 miles across 80 sales, so at 111,350 miles this one sits 5% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LEXUS LS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
