Question 1

How far is this LEXUS LS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NH - SALEM. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LEXUS LS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 174,124 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 105,901 miles across 84 sales, so at 174,124 miles this one sits 64% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Can I buy this 2016 LEXUS LS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 LEXUS LS was listed at IAAI as lot 45734933 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 5

Did this 2016 LEXUS LS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN JTHCL5EF1G5027458?

Accepted Answer
