Question 1

What do front end 2024 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 189 recorded sales of the 2024 LEXUS IS with front end damage, the median was $13,150, from $6,600 to $20,200. That is 12% below the $14,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,000 a good price for this 2024 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

424 comparable 2024 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $14,900, spanning $7,100 to $23,700. At $4,000 this one went 73% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS IS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS IS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AZ - SOUTHWEST RANCH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 LEXUS IS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 14,209 miles high for a 2024 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 18,873 miles across 424 sales, so at 14,209 miles this one sits 25% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
