Question 1

What do all over 2023 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2023 LEXUS IS with all over damage, the median was $7,550, from $3,450 to $13,600. That is 46% below the $13,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2023 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

491 comparable 2023 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $13,900, spanning $5,600 to $21,000. At $3,450 this one went 75% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS IS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 LEXUS IS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 1 miles high for a 2023 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 32,218 miles across 491 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS IS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 LEXUS IS's pre-damage retail value at $35,940. It sold for $3,450 — 90% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.
