Question 1

What do all over 2023 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2023 LEXUS IS with all over damage, the median was $6,300, from $3,250 to $13,600. That is 55% below the $14,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This LEXUS IS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 LEXUS IS was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS IS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - JACKSONVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 33,265 miles high for a 2023 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 32,332 miles across 517 sales, so at 33,265 miles this one sits 3% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN JTHGZ1E23P5032344?

Accepted Answer

JTHGZ1E23P5032344 identifies this specific 2023 LEXUS IS in white with a 3.5l 6 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
