Question 1

What does a ns-non-repairable-nova scotia mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 LEXUS IS was sold on a ns-non-repairable-nova scotia. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LEXUS IS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This LEXUS IS has water and interior damage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 73,491 miles high for a 2020 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 66,457 miles across 280 sales, so at 73,491 miles this one sits 11% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2020 LEXUS IS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2020 LEXUS IS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2020 LEXUS IS was listed at IAAI as lot 12269127 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
