Question 1

What do right side 2016 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 28 recorded sales of the 2016 LEXUS IS with right side damage, the median was $4,650, from $3,400 to $6,350. That is 9% below the $5,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,100 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

1004 comparable 2016 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,100, spanning $3,400 to $8,150. At $6,100 this one went 20% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS IS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a bill of sale mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LEXUS IS was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 5

Is 108,163 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 106,097 miles across 1004 sales, so at 108,163 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this LEXUS IS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
