Question 1

What do front end 2022 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 172 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS IS with front end damage, the median was $11,400, from $5,350 to $17,525. That is 10% below the $12,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,600 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

388 comparable 2022 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $12,600, spanning $5,700 to $19,700. At $13,600 this one went 8% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS IS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 LEXUS IS's pre-damage retail value at $39,209. It sold for $13,600 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 40,117 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 45,329 miles across 388 sales, so at 40,117 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 LEXUS IS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 LEXUS IS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
