Question 1

What do front end 2020 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 107 recorded sales of the 2020 LEXUS IS with front end damage, the median was $7,488, from $4,100 to $10,900. That is 9% below the $8,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2020 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

261 comparable 2020 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,200, spanning $4,450 to $12,400. At $5,500 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 LEXUS IS was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

This LEXUS IS has front end and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LEXUS IS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 80,920 miles high for a 2020 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 65,772 miles across 261 sales, so at 80,920 miles this one sits 23% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
