Question 1

What do left side 2020 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2020 LEXUS IS with left side damage, the median was $7,700, from $4,150 to $11,000. That is 5% below the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,500 a good price for this 2020 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

268 comparable 2020 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,400 to $12,600. At $7,500 this one went 7% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LEXUS IS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 73,893 miles high for a 2020 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 66,268 miles across 268 sales, so at 73,893 miles this one sits 12% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2020 LEXUS IS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2020 LEXUS IS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2020 LEXUS IS was listed at IAAI as lot 44124415 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
