Question 1

What do front end 2019 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 199 recorded sales of the 2019 LEXUS IS with front end damage, the median was $6,500, from $3,900 to $9,800. That is 9% below the $7,175 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,800 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

432 comparable 2019 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $7,175, spanning $4,150 to $11,400. At $5,800 this one went 19% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 LEXUS IS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS IS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AL - BESSEMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 56,254 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 74,906 miles across 432 sales, so at 56,254 miles this one sits 25% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 LEXUS IS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
