Question 1

What do left rear 2018 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2018 LEXUS IS with left rear damage, the median was $7,400, from $5,250 to $9,750. That is 9% above the $6,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,750 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

508 comparable 2018 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $6,800, spanning $3,900 to $10,600. At $9,750 this one went 43% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS IS was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS IS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - WILMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 94,464 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 86,081 miles across 508 sales, so at 94,464 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This LEXUS IS has left rear and rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
