Question 1

What do left side 2017 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS IS with left side damage, the median was $5,813, from $4,425 to $8,500. That is 1% below the $5,875 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Is 97,337 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 95,558 miles across 693 sales, so at 97,337 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 3

Who sold this 2017 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Did this 2017 LEXUS IS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN JTHCM1D28H5016494?

Accepted Answer

JTHCM1D28H5016494 identifies this specific 2017 LEXUS IS in blue with a 3.5l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, 255hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 LEXUS IS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 LEXUS IS was listed at IAAI as lot 46261022 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
