Question 1

What do front & rear 2017 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS IS with front & rear damage, the median was $5,388, from $3,675 to $9,000. That is 9% below the $5,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,250 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

718 comparable 2017 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,900, spanning $3,650 to $9,600. At $7,250 this one went 23% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage-oh mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS IS was sold on a salvage-oh. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LEXUS IS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS IS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - GROVE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 74,518 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 95,776 miles across 718 sales, so at 74,518 miles this one sits 22% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
