Question 1

What do water/flood 2016 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2016 LEXUS IS with water/flood damage, the median was $4,950, from $4,050 to $7,100. That is 3% below the $5,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,000 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

1004 comparable 2016 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,100, spanning $3,400 to $8,150. At $4,000 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS IS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 LEXUS IS's pre-damage retail value at $13,789. It sold for $4,000 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LEXUS IS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LEXUS IS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 112,772 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 106,180 miles across 1004 sales, so at 112,772 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
