Question 1

What do front end 2023 LEXUS GX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 177 recorded sales of the 2023 LEXUS GX with front end damage, the median was $25,775, from $14,925 to $33,575. That is level with the $25,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $33,700 a good price for this 2023 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

347 comparable 2023 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $25,850, spanning $11,600 to $35,250. At $33,700 this one went 30% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 LEXUS GX was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - HOUSTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 LEXUS GX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 8,084 miles high for a 2023 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 30,252 miles across 347 sales, so at 8,084 miles this one sits 73% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
