Question 1

What do front end 2020 LEXUS GX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 123 recorded sales of the 2020 LEXUS GX with front end damage, the median was $19,100, from $10,300 to $24,300. That is 4% below the $19,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,000 a good price for this 2020 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

250 comparable 2020 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $19,800, spanning $9,600 to $26,500. At $14,000 this one went 29% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS GX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 LEXUS GX's pre-damage retail value at $44,194. It sold for $14,000 — 68% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - WAYLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LEXUS GX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 17,788 miles high for a 2020 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 74,522 miles across 250 sales, so at 17,788 miles this one sits 76% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
