Question 1

What do front end 2019 LEXUS GX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 143 recorded sales of the 2019 LEXUS GX with front end damage, the median was $15,350, from $8,100 to $18,975. That is level with the $15,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,850 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

302 comparable 2019 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $15,400, spanning $7,800 to $20,700. At $13,850 this one went 10% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 LEXUS GX was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 LEXUS GX. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IA - DE SOTO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,000 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $650-$950, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 78,859 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 82,867 miles across 302 sales, so at 78,859 miles this one sits 5% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
