Question 1

What do rear end 2016 LEXUS GX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 27 recorded sales of the 2016 LEXUS GX with rear end damage, the median was $12,700, from $9,100 to $16,100. That is 4% above the $12,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,000 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

387 comparable 2016 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $12,200, spanning $7,200 to $16,400. At $13,000 this one went 7% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS GX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 LEXUS GX's pre-damage retail value at $24,619. It sold for $13,000 — 47% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LEXUS GX was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AL - EIGHT MILE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 86,074 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 128,995 miles across 387 sales, so at 86,074 miles this one sits 33% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
