Question 1

Was $27,150 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

343 comparable 2018 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $13,700, spanning $7,600 to $18,900. At $27,150 this one went 98% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This LEXUS GX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS GX was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LEXUS GX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This LEXUS GX has biohazard and theft damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 42,005 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 96,791 miles across 343 sales, so at 42,005 miles this one sits 57% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
