Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS GX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 197 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS GX with front end damage, the median was $12,500, from $7,500 to $16,300. That is 6% below the $13,275 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $15,500 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

380 comparable 2017 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $13,275, spanning $7,200 to $17,850. At $15,500 this one went 17% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS GX was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LEXUS GX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - RANCHO CORDOVA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 55,055 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 113,112 miles across 380 sales, so at 55,055 miles this one sits 51% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
