Question 1

What do front end 2023 LEXUS GX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 181 recorded sales of the 2023 LEXUS GX with front end damage, the median was $25,850, from $14,925 to $33,250. That is 1% below the $26,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $22,400 a good price for this 2023 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

354 comparable 2023 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $26,000, spanning $11,300 to $35,250. At $22,400 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS GX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 LEXUS GX's pre-damage retail value at $58,219. It sold for $22,400 — 62% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NC - MEBANE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This LEXUS GX has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 18,198 miles high for a 2023 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 30,323 miles across 354 sales, so at 18,198 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
