Question 1

Was $13,600 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

372 comparable 2016 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $12,200, spanning $7,200 to $16,400. At $13,600 this one went 11% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS GX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 LEXUS GX's pre-damage retail value at $20,122. It sold for $13,600 — 32% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LEXUS GX was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CO - DENVER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,030 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $675-$975, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This LEXUS GX has biohazard/chemical and vandalism damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 149,535 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 129,098 miles across 372 sales, so at 149,535 miles this one sits 16% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
