Question 1

What do front end 2023 LEXUS GX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 177 recorded sales of the 2023 LEXUS GX with front end damage, the median was $25,775, from $14,925 to $33,575. That is level with the $25,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $22,875 a good price for this 2023 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

347 comparable 2023 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $25,850, spanning $11,600 to $35,250. At $22,875 this one went 12% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - ROCK TAVERN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This LEXUS GX has front end and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 5,942 miles high for a 2023 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 30,313 miles across 347 sales, so at 5,942 miles this one sits 80% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 LEXUS GX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
