Question 1

What do front end 2018 LEXUS GS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 59 recorded sales of the 2018 LEXUS GS with front end damage, the median was $8,200, from $5,200 to $13,075. That is 12% below the $9,363 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,300 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

125 comparable 2018 LEXUS GS listings sold at auction for a median of $9,363, spanning $5,000 to $13,300. At $6,300 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS GS was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS GS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - RIVERVIEW. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LEXUS GS. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 62,012 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS GS listings at auction averaged 78,500 miles across 125 sales, so at 62,012 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
