Question 1

What does a ab-non-repairable-alberta mean for this LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS GS was sold on a ab-non-repairable-alberta. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 2

This LEXUS GS has water and electrical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 58,684 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS GS listings at auction averaged 78,977 miles across 126 sales, so at 58,684 miles this one sits 26% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this LEXUS GS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ACHESON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2018 LEXUS GS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN JTHCZ1BL5JA009142?

Accepted Answer

JTHCZ1BL5JA009142 identifies this specific 2018 LEXUS GS in white with a 3.5l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, 311hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
