Question 1

What do front end 2019 LEXUS GS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 39 recorded sales of the 2019 LEXUS GS with front end damage, the median was $8,250, from $4,200 to $13,100. That is 14% below the $9,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,300 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

73 comparable 2019 LEXUS GS listings sold at auction for a median of $9,600, spanning $4,550 to $14,100. At $8,300 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 LEXUS GS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 LEXUS GS. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS GS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in LA - NEW ORLEANS. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 42,235 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS GS listings at auction averaged 69,404 miles across 73 sales, so at 42,235 miles this one sits 39% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
