Question 1

What do front end 2018 LEXUS GS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 61 recorded sales of the 2018 LEXUS GS with front end damage, the median was $8,200, from $5,200 to $13,075. That is 11% below the $9,263 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,900 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

129 comparable 2018 LEXUS GS listings sold at auction for a median of $9,263, spanning $5,000 to $13,300. At $7,900 this one went 15% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS GS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This LEXUS GS has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LEXUS GS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 70,047 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS GS listings at auction averaged 79,321 miles across 129 sales, so at 70,047 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
