Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS GS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 75 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS GS with front end damage, the median was $7,550, from $4,000 to $13,100. That is 7% below the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,800 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

153 comparable 2017 LEXUS GS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,150 to $13,550. At $6,800 this one went 16% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS GS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS GS's pre-damage retail value at $16,908. It sold for $6,800 — 60% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS GS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - RIVERVIEW. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS GS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 132,630 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS GS listings at auction averaged 91,100 miles across 153 sales, so at 132,630 miles this one sits 46% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
