Question 1

What do rear end 2022 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 126 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS ES with rear end damage, the median was $14,900, from $9,600 to $21,900. That is 3% above the $14,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,600 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

801 comparable 2022 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $14,500, spanning $8,100 to $20,400. At $9,600 this one went 34% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS ES sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 LEXUS ES's pre-damage retail value at $36,345. It sold for $9,600 — 74% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 LEXUS ES was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 45,325 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 53,871 miles across 801 sales, so at 45,325 miles this one sits 16% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This LEXUS ES has rear end and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
