Question 1

Was $16,250 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

1298 comparable 2019 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $13,000, spanning $6,700 to $17,400. At $16,250 this one went 25% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 LEXUS ES was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this LEXUS ES from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - EL PASO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 LEXUS ES. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 126,957 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 78,585 miles across 1298 sales, so at 126,957 miles this one sits 62% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2019 LEXUS ES come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
