Question 1

What do front end 2022 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 359 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS ES with front end damage, the median was $13,900, from $8,400 to $19,400. That is 4% below the $14,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,600 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

812 comparable 2022 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $14,500, spanning $8,100 to $20,400. At $17,600 this one went 21% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 LEXUS ES was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS ES from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - LORAIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 65,666 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 54,170 miles across 812 sales, so at 65,666 miles this one sits 21% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2022 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
