Question 1

What do rear 2019 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 69 recorded sales of the 2019 LEXUS ES with rear damage, the median was $13,400, from $7,875 to $16,750. That is 3% above the $13,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,100 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

1280 comparable 2019 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $13,000, spanning $6,800 to $17,400. At $8,100 this one went 38% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 LEXUS ES was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 129,545 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 78,330 miles across 1280 sales, so at 129,545 miles this one sits 65% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS ES from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - DETROIT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 LEXUS ES. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
