Question 1

What do rear end 2019 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 223 recorded sales of the 2019 LEXUS ES with rear end damage, the median was $13,550, from $8,500 to $18,500. That is 5% above the $12,938 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,400 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

1331 comparable 2019 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $12,938, spanning $6,800 to $17,400. At $17,400 this one went 34% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS ES sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 LEXUS ES's pre-damage retail value at $25,551. It sold for $17,400 — 32% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 LEXUS ES was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 LEXUS ES. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 64,200 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 78,945 miles across 1331 sales, so at 64,200 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
