Question 1

What do right side 2017 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 27 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS ES with right side damage, the median was $7,025, from $3,650 to $11,200. That is level with the $7,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,700 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

997 comparable 2017 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $7,000, spanning $4,000 to $10,300. At $4,700 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS ES was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 160,328 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 98,122 miles across 997 sales, so at 160,328 miles this one sits 63% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2017 LEXUS ES come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with right side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
