Question 1

What do front end 2016 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 712 recorded sales of the 2016 LEXUS ES with front end damage, the median was $5,800, from $3,550 to $8,200. That is 5% below the $6,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,700 a good price for this 2016 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

1389 comparable 2016 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $6,100, spanning $3,675 to $8,600. At $5,700 this one went 7% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS ES sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 LEXUS ES's pre-damage retail value at $17,130. It sold for $5,700 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This LEXUS ES has front end and hail damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LEXUS ES. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 128,853 miles high for a 2016 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 110,104 miles across 1389 sales, so at 128,853 miles this one sits 17% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
