Question 1

What do water/flood 2020 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2020 LEXUS ES with water/flood damage, the median was $13,600, from $7,800 to $16,100. That is 1% above the $13,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,900 a good price for this 2020 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

795 comparable 2020 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $13,400, spanning $7,200 to $18,800. At $3,900 this one went 71% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS ES sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 LEXUS ES's pre-damage retail value at $33,216. It sold for $3,900 — 88% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 LEXUS ES was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS ES from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in LA - SHREVEPORT. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 44,602 miles high for a 2020 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 65,765 miles across 795 sales, so at 44,602 miles this one sits 32% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
