Question 1

What do front end 2022 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 348 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS ES with front end damage, the median was $13,900, from $8,400 to $19,400. That is 4% below the $14,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 LEXUS ES. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This LEXUS ES has front end and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 28,370 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 53,799 miles across 793 sales, so at 28,370 miles this one sits 47% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2022 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 58AEA1C12NU017237?

Accepted Answer

58AEA1C12NU017237 identifies this specific 2022 LEXUS ES in black with a 2.5l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 176hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
