Question 1

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 LEXUS ES was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 LEXUS ES. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 252,403 miles high for a 2023 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 37,496 miles across 591 sales, so at 252,403 miles this one sits 573% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this LEXUS ES located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - CALEDON EAST. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2023 LEXUS ES come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 58AB21B17PU013897?

Accepted Answer

58AB21B17PU013897 identifies this specific 2023 LEXUS ES in black with a 2.5l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 176hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
