Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $8,575, from $5,300 to $13,500. That is 14% below the $10,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,900 a good price for this 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR?

Accepted Answer

731 comparable 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR listings sold at auction for a median of $10,000, spanning $6,100 to $14,700. At $13,900 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MA - KINGSTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 79,400 miles high for a 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR listings at auction averaged 88,557 miles across 731 sales, so at 79,400 miles this one sits 10% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
