Question 1

What do rear end 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 31 recorded sales of the 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT with rear end damage, the median was $7,550, from $4,200 to $11,400. That is 9% above the $6,925 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,000 a good price for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT?

Accepted Answer

500 comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT listings sold at auction for a median of $6,925, spanning $3,900 to $13,500. At $5,000 this one went 28% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 148,576 miles high for a 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT listings at auction averaged 95,246 miles across 500 sales, so at 148,576 miles this one sits 56% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
