Question 1

What do left rear 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT with left rear damage, the median was $9,050, from $5,700 to $14,150. That is 29% above the $7,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,300 a good price for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT?

Accepted Answer

489 comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT listings sold at auction for a median of $7,000, spanning $3,950 to $13,500. At $9,300 this one went 33% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - JUPITER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 51,366 miles high for a 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT listings at auction averaged 95,402 miles across 489 sales, so at 51,366 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
