Question 1

What do front end 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY with front end damage, the median was $3,975, from $3,100 to $4,500. That is 3% above the $3,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,100 a good price for this 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

80 comparable 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings sold at auction for a median of $3,850, spanning $3,100 to $5,200. At $4,100 this one went 6% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This LAND ROVER DISCOVERY has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 62,805 miles high for a 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings at auction averaged 100,156 miles across 80 sales, so at 62,805 miles this one sits 37% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
