Question 1

Was $8,100 a good price for this 2022 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

63 comparable 2022 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings sold at auction for a median of $12,200, spanning $7,300 to $18,700. At $8,100 this one went 34% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY's pre-damage retail value at $27,069. It sold for $8,100 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KY - LEXINGTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 27,573 miles high for a 2022 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings at auction averaged 50,871 miles across 63 sales, so at 27,573 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
