Question 1

Was $3,500 a good price for this 2025 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

18 comparable 2025 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings sold at auction for a median of $15,700, spanning $3,600 to $27,250. At $3,500 this one went 78% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This LAND ROVER DISCOVERY sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OR - EUGENE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 28,982 miles high for a 2025 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings at auction averaged 12,060 miles across 18 sales, so at 28,982 miles this one sits 140% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
