Question 1

What do water/flood 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY with water/flood damage, the median was $6,250, from $3,550 to $8,200. That is 14% below the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,550 a good price for this 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

422 comparable 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $3,950 to $11,425. At $3,550 this one went 51% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY's pre-damage retail value at $18,264. It sold for $3,550 — 81% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 122,918 miles high for a 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings at auction averaged 88,571 miles across 422 sales, so at 122,918 miles this one sits 39% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
