Question 1

What do water/flood 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY with water/flood damage, the median was $6,250, from $3,550 to $8,200. That is 14% below the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,850 a good price for this 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

424 comparable 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $4,000 to $11,425. At $3,850 this one went 47% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY's pre-damage retail value at $20,984. It sold for $3,850 — 82% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

Is 58,747 miles high for a 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings at auction averaged 88,238 miles across 424 sales, so at 58,747 miles this one sits 33% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
