Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 92 recorded sales of the 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $6,200, from $3,900 to $10,900. That is 13% above the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This LAND ROVER DISCOVERY sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - FRESNO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 137,885 miles high for a 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings at auction averaged 96,935 miles across 537 sales, so at 137,885 miles this one sits 42% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN SALRRBBV6HA026666?

Accepted Answer

For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
